I start Esperanto tomorrow evening.  I got permission to start work early and leave early so I should get to the campus on time.

I practiced a little on Duolingo over the weekend.  I also told my friends who are all supportive, although some can't imagine driving all the way to Stanford during commute hour traffic for the class.  I'm OK with it.

Wonderful.  I'm not sure what I did but now I just have to put option+6 before the consonant or option+b before the u to get the special characters.  I'm going to do some more practice.

So I decided to learn Esperanto.  I'll be taking a class at Stanford on Tuesday nights.  I'm hoping I can get to class on time after work.

Right now what I want to work on is finding out if I can do the diacritics in the alphabet and getting comfortable typing them quickly.  I use a Windows computer for work and a Mac at home, so I need to learn both ways.

I didn’t quite figure it out but I found a work-around solution.  In the mean time, I think I’ll work on trying to memorize the alphabet.  I’m not sure of the sounds nor how to pronounce each letter, but I can at least work on figuring out by sight the alphabet so I’ll have that memorized.
